All food temperatures taken were internal. The facility does not currently provide food service because the day care is temporarily shut down, but they do wish to stay permitted. This inspection was a risk factor inspection that focused on the 5 risk factors for food borne illness (food from unapproved sources, inadequate cooking temperatures, inadequate holding temperatures, improper employee health and hygiene, and cross contamination of food and equipment). Good retail practices (GRPS) observed were discussed with operator and/or staff at time of evaluation. Some non-risk factor observations noted are: Mop sink y-valve is not back flow protected, women's rest room back splash not sealed to counter, single service cups stored next to the sink (corrected), single service utensils are stored loosely in drawer with lighters (corrected) and food cabinets have debris. These items should be corrected in time for your next inspection.

A certified pest managemnt company should be used for the facilites pest control needs. The facility is not to use home use pesticides at the facility.

Observation: Rodent droppings observed under the sink, on stove and on floor of kitchen (by and under sink/stove. The facility is maintained in overall clean condition and there is minimal droppings.
Correction: Ensure kitchen is inspected daily for rodents and ensure their droppings are picked up. Glue traps are in place.
