Observed a display for/with pastries, loose tea, espresso machine, tea & coffee machines and sauces in upright unit. Todays inspection was a follow-up for adherence to the Clean Air Act. Substantial compliance not observed, however 24 hours will be given to determine future/further action. Please contact our office to follow up by COB 23 September 2015.

Customers must order foods directly from Burger 7 and it must be delivered pre-packaged in to-go containers. Follow-up will be conducted on or after the week of September 7th.
  • Permit to Operate/Responsibilities of Permit Holder (repeated violation)
    Observation: Observed menu in use, customers still order from cloud lounge, food is served in to-go containers.
    Correction: Upon acceptance of the permit issued by the regulatory authority, the permit holder in order to retain the permit shall comply with directives of the regulatory authority including time frames for corrective actions specified in inspection reports, notices, orders, warnings, and other directives issued by the regulatory authority in regard to the permit holder's food establishment or in response to community emergencies.

Establishment now has a full service menu, in which food items are prepared at Burger 7 upstairs, and transported in an elevator, then served to customers. Burger 7 is preparing items not on their menu, as well as storage of Cloud Lounge's food.

    Observation: The nonfood-contact surface of the elevator to transport food is not kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and/or other debris.
    Correction: Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris. The objective of cleaning focuses on the need to remove soil from nonfood contact surfaces so that pathogenic microorganisms will not be allowed to accumulate and insects and rodents will not be attracted.

    Observation: The outer openings of the food establishment are not protected against the entry of insects and rodents.
    Correction: Outer openings of a food establishment shall be protected against the entry of insects and rodents by: (1) Filling or closing holes and other gaps along floors, walls, and ceilings
  • Handwashing Cleanser, Availability (repeated violation)
    Observation: No hand soap was at handwashing sink in kitchen area.
    Correction: Each handwashing sink or group of 2 adjacent handwashing sinks shall be provided with a supply of hand cleaning liquid, powder, or bar soap. Hand cleanser must always be present to aid in reducing microorganisms and particulate matter found on hands.

    Observation: Observed chemical working containers not labeled with common name of product.
    Correction: Working containers used for storing poisonous or toxic materials such as cleaners and sanitizers taken from bulk supplies shall be clearly and individually identified with the common name of the material. It is common practice in food establishments to purchase many poisonous or toxic materials including cleaners and sanitizers in bulk containers. Working containers are frequently used to convey these materials to areas where they will be used, resulting in working containers being stored in different locations in the establishment. Identification of these containers with the common name of the material helps prevent the dangerous misuse of the contents.

    Correction: Receptacles and waste handling units for refuse, recyclables, and returnables shall be kept covered with tight-fitting lids or doors if kept outside the food establishment. Outside receptacles must be constructed with tight-fitting lids or covers to prevent the scattering of the garbage or refuse by birds, the breeding of flies, or then entry of rodents.
  • Handwashing Cleanser, Availability (corrected on site)
    Observation: A supply of hand cleaning liquid, powder, or bar soap is not provided at back kitchen handwashing sink.
    Correction: Each handwashing sink or group of 2 adjacent handwashing sinks shall be provided with a supply of hand cleaning liquid, powder, or bar soap.

    Observation: A sign or poster that notifies food employees to wash their hands is not provided at back kitchen handwashing sink used by food employees and/or is not clearly visible to food employees.
    Correction: A sign or poster that notifies food employees to wash their hands shall be provided at all handwashing sinks used by food employees and shall be clearly visible to food employees. A sign or poster is required to remind food employees to wash their hands.
  • Permit to Operate/Responsibilities of Permit Holder (corrected on site)
    Observation: The 2014 health permit is not posted in a location in the food establishment that is conspicuous to consumers.
    Correction: Upon acceptance of the permit issued by the regulatory authority, the permit holder in order to retain the permit shall post the permit in a location in the food establishment that is conspicuous to consumers.
