3-501.17(B) - --There is a container of commercially prepared, ready-to-eat pinto beans that is opened and dated 9/1/15 in the stainless steel cooler in the kitchen. The kitchen manager said the beans were opened 9/1/15, and frozen that same day. She pulled them out of the freezer yesterday (9/14/15) to thaw. COS - she updated the date marking with freeze and thaw dates.
KDA_3_30414B1 - --In the kitchen there is a wet wiping cloth being stored sitting on the counter rather than in a chemical sanitizer.
KDA_3_30511A1 - --In the outdoor walk-in-freezer there is a box of bananas being stored directly on the floor.
KDA_4_60111A - --In the cooler there is a container of yogurt with a lid on it that has sticker residue. This residue was identified as remaining after the previous cleaning of the container. COS - the lid was removed and cleaned. In the dry storage room there is a container being used to store brown/white sugar that has sticker remaining on the outside of the container. This was identified as remaining from the original manufacturer's labeling. COS - the kitchen manager removed this container and cleaned it.
KDA_4_60111C - --The standing fan in the kitchen blowing towards the serving area has slight dust buildup on the front/back of the fan cover.
KDA_7_10211 - --In the dish washing area there is a white tub with a pink-ish liquid inside that is not labeled. Staff verified this was sanitizer water. COS - staff labeled the tub.
KDA_Defacto - --Change of ownership on a currently operational school. --Hot water dishwasher: 178.3 F --Quaternary Ammonia test strips provided. - Expiration date is in 2017.
