Description: Tucked away at the base of Shadow Mountain in East County’s El Cajon, San Diego Christian College has a liberal arts curriculum. Founded in 1970 with a Christian-oriented mission, learning in all SDCC’s academic programs is biblically focused.In addition to its halls of learning, the 34-acre campus has playing fields and a swimming pool for intercollegiate and intramural sports for men and women students. Christian College has 15 undergraduate academic programs, including aviation technology, sports medicine, and biblical studies to augment the more traditional disciplines. Because of its small student population of approximately 500, individualized attention is the norm. The student-teacher ratio is 15 to 1.

Description: The district includes both Cuyamaca College and Grossmont College, which offer a range of courses lasting from one day to a traditional full semester. Description: Grossmont offers 81 associate’s degrees and 68 certificates. In addition to a full range of courses in disciplines from theater arts to international business and computer systems management, students can take advantage of summer study-abroad programs. Academic and vocational counseling and resources support counseling and supplement instructional programs. Grossmont also has a community continuing education program and a Regional Occupation Program (ROP).
