I do worry a bit about Fetterman's health, but he is still a young man. Husband had 2 heart attacks in his 60's, went code blue 4 times, has 5 stents, and a pacemaker.

If Fetterman was in his 70's like my husband, I would be far more concerned about his health.

IMHO, I do believe there should be a maximum age for elected officials.

If he has a tumor that may have caused the stroke. If his health is compromised, should he have run without disclosing it to the press?
Give it a rest. You're drumming up conspiracy on purpose.

Also, if health were a disqualifier, right-wingnuts like Mastriano and Barnette should have been automatically removed for psychiatric evaluation.

Conservatives certainly don't shy away from supporting the unhinged!

I'm not a big Fetterman fan, but I am a fan of democracy, the environment, women's reproductive rights, access to healthcare, and economic fairness and opportunity. So now that we have a candidate, he most certainly has my vote.

well, the bright side from this, the nutcase faction doubled down that we need MORE of the BS. democrats dont typically vote in primaries in PA, but given polling, all indies and at least a third of democrats are already moving away from the party and for instance gas in w PA jumped 20 cents yesterday. People are going to vote basic survival and the red wave should be as they put it an 'extinction level event'.

Yes, brilliant idea. Let's empower more Republicans, the party that is the lap dog to corporate interests, to bring down inflation. Do you understand how absurd that sounds?

LOL!

Agree 100%. Blue collar voters who went for Obama and then Trump are not crazy or even fickle. They just want someone who is on their side to represent them. Any populist on the Left or Right will do.

Oh, I'm more than current. I just think it's nothing less than foolish to entrust Republicans to do absolutely anything to help the average, middle-class American.

You know, the party that thinks corporations are people?

But if you want to delude yourself into thinking otherwise, have at it!

The GOP didn't have a platform in 2020. They literally dropped it. They don't have one now - however, Senate leadership announced a plan to raise taxes and eliminate Medicare and Social Security, among other things.

Their candidate for gov stated he won't allow the state to validate the winner in 2024 unless he supports the winner.

He was involved in the Jan 6 attack. The GOP is off the rails.
