Oh man. If I weren't married, had an RV, and the salmon weren't getting ready to run, I'd be over there like a shot just for the opportunity to mess around making ice cream. I made some wild red huckleberry ice cream last fall that was especially good (and colorful) with a little purple honey drizzled over it.

LOL. I can't tell if you're joking or jabbing. If you change your mind you can just call her! She made it easy by posting her cell phone number right here on the forum.

I can already tell this isn't going to end well. Since the OP is so transparent I hope she posts an update later this summer about all the deadbeats who show up all amped up and ready to "work", the ones who initially sounded excited about joining in on the kumbaya drum circle around the campfire every evening.

Seriously OP, from one woman to another, what you're getting into is a bad idea. I've seen how it turns out.

The offer and the presentation are much better and will probably garner takers, for a week or more.

I'd be interested as long as we can arrange for it to be a WFH position.

I have "workamped" in the past, it can be a "win-win" situation as long as expectations are clearly laid out (which they are in this case) and expectations are met.
The great thing about the RV lifestyle is your home has wheels...if the opportunity does not live up to expectations, you move on to the next one.
My workamping experiences were all positive.

What is it about strong-willed independent women that men find so objectionable. If YOUR family were threatened, wouldn't YOU shoot their ass and call the sheriff/coroner to remove the body?? If a man had said this, it would make perfect sense and most people wouldn't blink. But a woman? The weaker sex needs to be protected, not the protector, right?
You are making a tremendous leap with.those comments. At what point was any of what you quoted misogynistic?

I'd suggest she get trained up with a 1st responder certification (EMT) in case there's any mishaps that occur in the process of building/fixing things.

Get to know the local Sheriff & fire dept. I assume the fire dept needs to come do annual inspections, anyway ... or at least they should be for a registered business.

When seconds count, help is literally 30min away in this case.

Yeah I think you may find that it is hard to get someone for more than a few months at a time. State and local parks in GA are having to open later in the season because they can't find people to be park hosts. Even Florida during the summer has a hard time; while in the winter of course they have people lining up. Good luck and be careful who you get.

OK, so I have a lot of experience with having employees live on-site at a remote location, although I've never gone the work exchange route. I don't know what would be a fair amount of hours to expect. This Bison ranch on WWOOF is asking for 5-6 hours per day, and to me, that seems exploitative, especially if it's every single day. But maybe it's the going rate; I don't know what I don't know.

However you compensate them, when you have employees living on-site, there will come a time or two when you have to put someone out the airlock. When these things don't work out, you need to be able to break it off quickly and cleanly. Your written agreement needs to specify that the RV space and/or other living quarters are contingent on the person working there. Idk what Montana law is on this, but most states have statutes that address these situations — otherwise, you could be in a situation where you fire someone and that person claims tenancy, and then you're stuck with giving applicable notice and all that rot.

yep then what about the guy shooting people pumping gas in DC?

then what about the guy asking college girls for help and abducting them in his VW beetle?

then what about the guy mailing bombs through the mail?

So no personal ads, no gas pumping, no help to strangers and never open the mail!
