I think another part of your cat is Siberian. Look and see if you don't agree. They are a fluffier version of a Maine Coon. Their jaws aren't as square but their heads aren't a perfect triangle with a nose with a straight bridge from the forehead to the tip like Norwegian Forest cats have. Siberians noses have a cute little turned up nose. Their coats are finer fuller and fluffier than Maine Coons similar to Norwegians coats.This is just one site you can check out of many. melodysiberians.com They are the favorite breed in Russia.

I later discovered my cat was an apparent Siberian after ruling out Norwegian Forest Cat due to the nose bridge not being straight.

I have your cat's twin!!! Charlie Chester Tom Tom (See his page on FaceBook.) When I went to the vet he stated he was a Norwegian Forest Cat, which is the 1/2 the breed the Main coon actually came from.
