Averaging it for the entire season is very difficult, but it is definitely possible. The main issue that I see is that Jokic just isn't very motivated by stats, records, etc. But if it's within reach towards the end of the season, I could see it becoming more of a focal point, just because of how rare it really is. But like McGowdog said, 1 for 1 so far!

Well, Westbrook did it something like 5 years straight...and it's much more difficult for a guard with regards to the rebounds. For Jokic, there is nothing in the triple double that he would struggle with. Getting at least 10 points a game is a guarantee. For a fairly unathletic guy, he rebounds very well and we already know about the passing game. Like you said, the only obstacle is the fact that he doesnt seem very motivated (remember this is his part time job lol). He might kick back and cruise till the playoffs then pick it back up again. While I dont think anyone is a threat in the west, Milwaukee and Boston will be interesting against Denver in the Finals. I think he saves his energy till then.
I'll take the under again because Jokic won't care about the stat accomplishment.........and because he isn't a guard, he will have the occasional 4 or 5 assist game that is hard to average back up to 10. The team looked pretty focused for late Oct. They wanted to win that game.

Yep, I think the difference between he and Westbrook is the latter’s teammates were letting him get rebounds to pad his stats. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jokic retires early to be with his family and horses after winning another championship or two.

I doubt Jokic makes it to 200 as well. He won't chase the stat. Who knows how long he will play. He does like the type of personality that who would walk away young, but financially he will be making about 60M a season by 2027-28..............and that's a lot of money to walk away from.
The Westbrook pad is known. On free throws, everyone would box out and let him fly in from the top to grab the miss. Adams would virtually bearhug the other team's best rebounder. I forget the exact amount, but someone calculated how many extra boards this gave Westbrook that otherwise goes to those bigs. It was non-trivial when hunting for the season averages, maybe 1.5-2.0 boards a game.
