Corral State Beach


Corral State Beach is located at the mouths of the Corral and Solstice Canyons in Malibu, CA. The beach is located off of Pacific Coast Highway and is just over 30 miles west of Los Angeles and 40 miles south of Ventura.

Corral Beach is a narrow, sandy beach with several activities available such as: swimming, boating, fishing and whitewater paddling. On calm days, visitors can view the living reef with snorkeling gear. Dolphins can also be seen from time to time. There are several nearby restaurants offering a variety of food as well as campgrounds for longer stays. Other nearby attractions includes Dan Blocker Beach, the Corral Canyon and Solstice Canyon.

Corral Canyon Park offers numerous ocean and mountain views for people exploring the park. The Sara Wan Trailhead not only provides access to the park, but also features picnic areas, restrooms, educations displays, and parking. The trail is 2.5 miles long and passes the canyon and leads to the ocean.

Solstice Canyon Park offers five well maintained trails for public use, several of which offer views of the Corral State Beach along the way. The Solstice trails are mainly for hikers and dogs. Bicyclists are only allowed on the Solstice Canyon Trail.
