Broad Beach

A visit to Broad Beach gets visitors close to some of the most expensive and well-known residences in Southern California. Public access to Broad Beach is available in two locations, despite the beach being basically private. The beach offers an opportunity for surfing, swimming, and fishing, and many people visit to see the tidepools. The beach is not crowded since much of it is private, making it a great destination for couples and individuals looking to escape the family crowds and enjoy a little solitude. The beach is known for how clean it is and the fine, white sands stretches for miles. There are a number of homes right on the beach and many of them belong to the most affluent residents of Malibu, many of them celebrities. The beach has no lifeguards. The signs in the area restrict access to dogs, but many pet owners still let their dogs run and there is rarely a problem. Parking is available on Broad Beach road and there are pathways leading to the beach access. Some people walk down from Zuma to reach Broad Beach. This peaceful beach is a great destination for those who want to avoid the crowds and just relax in the Southern California sunshine.
