Description: These two 18-hole firefighter-themed miniature golf courses are smack dab in the center of the Walden’s Landing shopping center. It’s a cute course, with forest creatures like a big bear and a raccoon dressed up in firefighters’ hats and bright red suspenders. The six waterfalls add a nice touch, too. Outside the entrance is a big, bright red 1939 fire truck that kids are welcome to climb on. Tickets cost $8 for adults and $6 for children ages 3 to 11 for one course. If you want to play the second 18 holes, it’s half price.

Description: In addition to a fairly large indoor arcade and laser tag, this amusement center features the Family Slick Track, a covered track open to drivers 4 feet 8 inches and taller where they can go at speeds up to 40 mph. Admission is $10 per ride (or $12 for a two-seater; drivers must be at least 16 years old), and every ride after that is half off for the rest of the day. Laser tag costs $8. You can also get a special Park Hopper pass that lets you mix and match rides at any of four amusement centers (Star Tracks, Rockin’ Raceway, Lazerport Fun Center, and Speed Zone Fun Park). The pass gives you five rides for $25 or 10 rides for $45 per person.

Description: This indoor boat ride takes you on a 15-minute journey down a winding river through a creepy dinosaur-infested jungle, complete with waterfalls and a geyser. Some 15 to 20 unruly reptiles move and roar (and one even spits at you) as you glide by. Admission is $13.99 for those ages 12 and older, $9.99 for children ages 5 to 11, and $4.99 for children ages 3 and 4. Kids under 3 are admitted free.

Description: Rockin’ Raceway offers a very large, well-equipped video arcade, as well as a figure-eight slick track. You must be three years old to ride, and 56 inches tall to drive. To drive a double kart, you must be at least 16 years old. Admission is $10 per ride, and every ride after that is half off for the rest of the day. Kids who are too short to drive can ride free. Description: Spin City is, as you may imagine from the name, a roller-skating rink. This wildly colorful place is open year-round, and a live deejay entertains on the weekends. Admission usually ranges from $6 to $8, but it’s $10 on Friday and Saturday nights when there’s a live deejay. Skate rental is $2 extra. All prices include tax. Spin City runs specials on different days. On Tuesdays rentals are included in the skating price, and on Sundays a family of four can skate for $20 (including skate rentals) and can also get a large pizza for $7 ($3 less than the usual price). Downstairs, there’s a figure-eight go-kart track that usually gives extra-long rides. Single tickets are $8, including tax, and a double car is $12.

Description: Adventure Golf is one of the more attractive and interesting miniature golf courses in the area. In fact, its owners claim that it’s the oldest commercial miniature golf course in Pigeon Forge. Here, you’ll be putt-putting amid mammoth versions of a dinosaur, a shark, an octopus, and more. Large shipwreck and castle scenes add to the landscaping. Adventure Golf has two 18-hole courses that cost $7.50 each, including tax; you can play a second round for only $3 more. Children ages four and younger are admitted free.

14. Adventure Raceway

Description: Adventure Raceway features one outdoor track—another of the several wooden go-kart tracks that sprang up on the Parkway in 1999. Since then, a curvy, multilevel wooden section was added to the existing figure-eight, ground-level track. The cost is $7.50 per ride, including tax (or $10.00 for a double car), and drivers must be at least 4 feet 8 inches tall. Adventure Raceway also has bumper boats that cost $7 per ride. You must be 3 feet 6 inches tall to operate the boats. Children who are more than three years old but who are still under the minimum height requirements may ride free as passengers on both the go-kart track and the bumper boats. The attraction also has a large arcade.
