Description: Although there’s a lot to take on at this sprawling family amusement center, the focus is on go-kart racing, including two twisty, curvy, outdoor tracks. The first, simply called the Track, uses one- and two-seat karts. Solo drivers must be at least 4 feet 6 inches tall, and those driving the two-seaters must be at least 16 years old. Passengers in the two-seaters must be at least 3 feet tall. The cost to drive either a single or double car is two tickets. Passengers 4 feet 6 inches tall and under ride for free, while passengers taller than 4 feet 6 inches pay two tickets. When the other outdoor track, the Wild Woody, was added in 1999, it helped usher in the advent of wooden go-kart tracks in the Smoky Mountains. The driving surface is actually a hybrid combination of the original, ground-level, concrete track and a newer, add-on section—a multitiered wooden track that goes through several humps and corkscrew twists. The driving is a little slower than on the run-of-the-mill go-kart track, but like wooden roller coasters, the wooden tracks give kartsters a ride you can really feel.To drive on the Wild Woody, you must be at least 4 feet 10 inches tall. Drivers with passengers must be at least 16 years old. Two-seater passengers on the Wild Woody must be at least 3 feet tall. The cost to drive either a single or double car is three tickets. Passengers 4 feet 10 inches tall and under ride along for free, while passengers more than 4 feet 10 inches tall pay three tickets. If you’re in search of an even bigger adrenaline rush, bungee-jump from the Track’s 75-foot tower ($16, half-price for repeat jumps). Or try the Sky Flyer thrill ride, which goes back and forth horizontally and takes up to three people at once ($16; riders must be 3 feet 6 inches tall). Gator Golf provides two 18-hole miniature courses adorned with various animal figures. The cost is three tickets per person per 18-hole round for ages 13 and older. Ages 6 to 12 can golf for two tickets, and kids 5 and younger can tag along for free with a paid adult. Bumper cars are available for two tickets to anyone taller than 4 feet 2 inches (although anyone shorter can ride with an adult driver). The Kid’s Country area is for younger children and features a number of carnival-style rides that cost one ticket each. There’s even a Kiddie Kart Raceway where the smaller ones can burn rubber on their own track. Drivers of the Kiddie Karts must be at least 4 years old, and drivers of the Rookie Karts must be at least 4 feet 2 inches tall. Both karts cost two tickets. (Note that Kid’s Country is closed during most of January and February, even when the rest of the Track is open.)Individual tickets are $2.99, or you can purchase discounted bundles of 6 tickets for $16.50 or 14 tickets for $36.40. The Go-Kart Fun Pack is the biggest package. For $70.84, you get 28 tickets and the chance to buy additional tickets for $1.50 each any day you want until the end of the year.
