There is plenty of free parking, a bonus for this central Deadwood location. The three cottages have at least two bedrooms and two have a full kitchen and laundry. The Bullock Cottage has three bedrooms and three baths. All are nicely furnished. There is a hot tub in the common area.

Description: The Mineral Palace is a new hotel, at least compared to others in town that are housed in historic buildings. Each of its rooms and suites has a big bathroom, television, and clock radio. Some rooms are wheelchair accessible, and you can request a nonsmoking room. The Royal Suite has a Jacuzzi, wet bar, and fireplace. The multiroom casino and restaurant are on the first floor of the hotel. A three-story expansion with additional hotel and casino space opened in 2006.

Description: Deadwood Gulch is a complete resort, with something for everyone, including 98 motel rooms of various sizes and styles. The resort is on the Mickelson Trail—the part that can be accessed by snowmobiles.
