Description: Founded in 1954, Chamber Music Tulsa sponsors a six-concert series that brings to Tulsa not only the finest young American musicians, but world famous groups. The elegant, intimate Saturday night performances, which include wine and a light dinner, are available only to season subscribers, but the Sunday afternoon concerts are open to the public. They are held in the Performing Arts Center.

Description: The Council Oak Men’s Chorale was unintentionally started by a group of singers who banded together to sing for a World AIDS Day observance in 1997. Like the Indian Council Tree that they chose for a name, they started small but have grown strong. The group rehearses weekly and gives three scheduled concerts each year, in addition to a number of private performances. The group consists of both gay and gay-affirming men and is conducted by Elizabeth Smith Curtis.
