Description: A prayer group belonging to ten Mennonite ministers eventually grew what today is known as Grace University. A four-year college with undergraduate offerings that include business, networking, Christian ministry, communications, pastoral ministries, and a number of other subjects, Grace ultimately has a focus on biblically integrated education. On the Grace campus, the primary focus is on the Bible, with the humanities and sciences serving a secondary role. Bachelor-level students must pursue a double major in Biblical studies along with the field of their choice. The campus, located south of downtown Omaha just a few blocks from the Old Market area, covers six city blocks. During the past five years, Grace invested more than $11 million in campus renovation, remodeling, and upgrading, bringing the school to a new level. Four dormitories, modern classrooms, a campus library, and numerous other offerings make Grace an up-to-date facility.
