Description: A member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, the Saint Louis University men’s basketball squad plays at Chaifetz Arena, their newly opened on-campus venue. The Lady Billikens basketball and volleyball teams play their games at the Bauman-Eberhardt Athletic Center, also located on the midtown campus of SLU. The building, constructed in the 1920s, houses the athletic department offices and SLU’s Hall of Fame, which displays trophies and memorabilia from the outstanding accomplishments of individuals and teams throughout Billiken sports history. The SLU baseball and softball teams play at the Billiken Sports Center on the university campus. In nearby Fenton, Missouri, the SLU field hockey teams compete at the Anheuser-Busch Center, a facility located on 32 acres approximately 20 minutes from SLU’s midtown campus. Two of the six fields are artificial playing surfaces, which feature state-of-the-art System 90 Astroturf. Robert R. Hermann Stadium offers the men’s and women’s soccer teams a stellar venue in which to compete. The state-of-the-art field surface is a mixture of blue grasses that covers an area of 155,000 square feet. The Billikens play on a regulation 120-by-75-yard soccer pitch. The addition of permanent seating on the east side of the stadium, along with the expansion of the main grandstand, has increased the facility’s seating capacity to 6,050.
