No the weapons were real enough just the claim not proved. Not beyond the IDF to place weapons themselves.

No. They could have laid seige. They could have sent in a strike team. They could have negotiated. They had many other options.

Murderous israel has always wanted Gaza. Murderous israel wants as much Palestinian land as they can take. This is their excuse now.

And now murderous israel will be able to annex this land, because they murdered babies.
The jury is out on that one. To date nothing has been shown this to be so. If tunnels don't prove the exist, the IDF credibility would be seriously in question. The reverse would be true on the other side if evidence was found as well.

Well a tunnel entrance has been found as you know, plenty of weapons were found in the hospital, military tech was found, a booby trapped car with even more weapons were found, and a couple dead hostages were found nearby. Obviously, the doctors in that hospital (all Hamas employees by the way) lied when they said Hamas militants were not there. That was just at Al Shifa, tunnel entrances and weapons were found at other hospitals as well. To me, the fact that Hamas was operating in the hospital above ground is worse than operating it from below ground.

Really what IDF was hoping to find were some of the hostages. I think they have found under another hospital large rooms with makeshift showers and cooking appliances were hostages appear to have been kept. No word on if that is under Al Shifa, they are still searching and these tunnels are all connected, but likely Hamas would have moved the hostages out of rescue reach regardless. Any Hamas terrorist down there likewise would have long skedaddled.

Are you a military strategist within military intelligence about what Israel could have done or not done?!

I think it is very difficult for those outside the area to judge the situation. It is very sad what is happening to Gazan civilians but the Hamas infrastructure is completely intertwined with civilian buildings. This would have made a single strike team not a valid option.

The most recent find is a cache of weapons at a Gaza high school:

Also one cannot negotiate with a group whose sole purpose is your destruction/elimination. Gaza must be freed from Hamas' control completely.

How come the USA didn't just send in a strike team or negotiate with the Taliban after 9/11? The October 7th attack is more than equivalent to the 9/11 attack on the USA (and I don't recall people so concerned about Afghan civilians when the USA invaded Afghanistan).

Don't bother. That post from that guy you are responding to didn't even dignify a serious response. I mean read it, it sounds like written by a pre-teen having an emotional crises. It's also clear he is woefully misinformed.

2 Israeli Hostagesā€™ Bodies Were Recovered Near Al-Shifa Hospital, Army Says

https://www.upi.com/Top_News/World-N...8571700196735/

It does shows the rest of hostages are in the Hamas HQ 100 ft down under the hospital and Hamas is killing then one at a time, Hamas is threatening Israel to leave.

How deep are the tunnels in Gaza?

The tunnels are normally dug by individual contractors from basements of houses or an olive grove under the border at depths of up to 30 meters (100 feet), and reaching up to 800 meters (2640 feet) in length.

it is said that there are 300 miles of tunnels under Gaza, that will take some time to search all of them.

Speaking to reporters in Hebrew on Tuesday, Lifschitz described being taken on the back seat of a motorcycle, which sped over fields, before she was forced to walk a few kilometers. Lifschitz said she then reached the entrance to a tunnel and entered an underground network that looked like a "spider web."?

Israeli hostage released says she was kept in tunnels under Gaza?
