Thank you for posting this. I was thinking about this the other day. I left WV in 1985 and never got to go to this. I want to go back one year and go.

If you plan on staying at a motel in the area, better make your reservations soon. Several of the hotels mentioned on the site are already fully booked.

I checked out the website and I don't see times listed for anything. Do you guys have an inside track as to what goes on when? What time should we be there? Any other inside tips?

They hide that info well, don't they?

Try the website of the Bridge Day Commission. In the upper right of the page, click on the orange button that says Spectators. On the menu that drops down, click on Schedule of Events.

Not sure if this is the same site posted by Snorpus but this site also has the schedule of events and a lot of good info - says it's the "official" site. Click on Schedule under the pix of Spectators.
