We've got wildfire smoke from BC fires wafting into Whatcom County this week, ugh.
It's been minimal and comes only with outflow, but it's a bummer to see it this early in the year.
The last few weeks we've had a bit more thunderstorm activity than normal, not sure if lightning caused these fires or what.

If it does end up warmer and drier, as predicted, be sure to invest in an ac early, for those hot days where you can’t ventilate at night to cool the house down.

Absolutely! A/C, a good filter on your HVAC system, and an air purifier for inside the room are necessities these days to surviving wildfire smoke outbreaks. People are going to have to bite that bullet, and get A/C as the fire season/s get worse.

We did mini splits, I like them, less costly compared to the Cadets in our last house and A/C as a bonus. If you can service automotive A/C, you can install them yourself. The only thing I don't like is that at around -13*F they will fail to heat(which does happen up here with the "norester").
