Ok, yes, I hear you about it being worse. We have first world problems for sure. That being said, I don't want to seem like I'm invaliding someone's sense of SAD during this time which can be very real. I think most are also ready for spring by the end of February, myself included.

Here are a few photos I've taken in early to mid-March. It's hard to believe spring is just a few weeks a away. So, hang in there!!

That's Mt. Hood looking across the Columbia River from the WA side. Here's a shot where you can see Hood more.







Here's another recent shot of it from the WA side closer to Vancouver.

Yes, absolutely true. Portland can get colder than Seattle under certain conditions during winter, plus ice storms are more common in Portland. They also tend to be warmer in the summer with 100 degree days more numerous than Seattle.
