there is a great house located in the middle of the wilson area of oxnard (a block away from historic oxnard) and im thinking of moving there. the area looks decently kept and theres almost no graffitti, but as a white couple moving there will i be sitting in the middle of a crime cesspool? ive heard horror stories of oxnard and how whites get singled out for crime and end up having to move. anyone here shed some light on the issue? if im misinformed please forgive my ignorance.

I just did a google street view around there and you are right, it does look kept up.

Surprised nobody responded to your post here.

Suggest you search for other Oxnard threads and ask again.

So, while it may not be a crime place, it didn't look too great for schools:

That is something to consider too.

Did you end up moving there???? I think the area is ok. One of my coworkers lives in the historic district and he is white and hasn't had any issues..
