I like both of those shows, but I'm usually busy so I can't really sit down and watch them. But, Jon and Kate live somewhere near where I live. If I'm not mistaken, they live in or around Berks County, PA. My one friend is actually related to them somehow. Just thought that was interesting, so I decided to share it. lol
I love LP/BW, but sometimes I want to smack those two older boys when they tell the father to shut up.
That never EVER happened around our house. And I think the youngest boy is going to be the most spoiled. Such a big house and the oldest should be moved out by now.
I saw a pic of Zach on flickr, where he is in college. Oops, don't want to spoil any surprises.
Quit watching when the father was arrested for DUI. He used his disability as his defense. I was always amazed by the untidiness of their home. Otherwise I found it interesting in the genetics of their conditions and how it is or is not passed on. I think the friend Mike died recently.
I think the exposure of the show is a good thing for humanity. I am sure that many young people have never seen a little person before, or adults for that matter. And maybe that exposure, may lessen the ridicule that they face out in the world.
I saw the episode where Matt went to court, but am unsure if that was just staged for tv or not.

Matt was not guilty of the DUI. He was driving erratically because he was driving Amy's van in which the petals are not adjusted for him.
I do not like how slovenly the kids are. Why the parents think they will make it through college with their lack of any work ethic is amazing to me.
The reason I watch is that I admire the way Matt makes it through life with his handicaps and is always upbeat and enthusiastic about life despite how hard it is for him to get around.
We like to watch it too, but I am always saying "look at the beautiful house and it is so messy."
