Anyone watching Mayor Of Kingstown? It’s on the Paramount Network. It’s a little confusing at times and hard to follow, but will keep watching it. Wish there was more information on the internet about it. The series is created by Taylor Sheridan who also created Yellowstone.

I might give it a try. However, I generally seriously dislike prison movies, so I am not finding the show tempting. If a bunch of people come back here raving about it, I will watch an episode or two to see if I like it.

I'll watch that pre-Yellowstone, though.

Yes, I plan on watching the show “1883” too that’s coming on in December.

I'm watching. It is a bit confusing as to what is going on, but its well written and very well acted so I'm going to hang in there.

Not sure I would call it a "prison movie" (its a series) . Sure some scenes are prison related but for the most part it revolves around Jeremy Renner's character.

I dont get the premise

Is the family owners of a private prison, or is the one brother the Mayor of the town?

It seems to me that one brother is the town mayor (Jeremy Renner) & the other brother is warden for the prison.

The best actor in it - Kyle Chandler - gets killed off in the first episode. I was looking forward to him being the big boss.

I've never cared for the mother as a actress. She whines.

Well that is some nepotism for you.

This whole show just about how one family is screwing over everyone else then.

Will pass.
