We finished the series a few days ago, I liked it.
It was pretty good, gave it two thumbs up on Netflix. One of the reviews I read, forget where, said that while it's not breaking any new ground, it was done well, and the characters all acted well and weren't one-dimensional. Which I agree with.
I just finished watching it. I can compare it to 24 and it wasn't half as good. I just watched Jack Ryan and this is 1/10 as good. The acting was ok. For me, the entire thing was eminently forgettable. Its like a TV show with excessive use of the F word.
Even though Season 2 is confirmed, it will take a while to get here. I love this action-style spy/government type stuff and especially series. Loved the Jason Bourne movies, but what other tv series can I watch that has this similar style of plot? Doesn't have to be Netflix

Tudum announced in February 2024 that Netflix had started production on another 10 episodes for the espionage thriller series, which reached over 150 million hours viewed in its first week.
An official release date for The Night Agent season 2 has yet to be announced, but in March 2023, star Buchanan shared a video on Instagram that stated the second season would come out in 2024.
