Kamoshika,

Great pictures. I tried to increase your reputation, but I could not. Thanks for sharing.

I know, it would not let me give any either, but I gave you some for the nice gesture!

Kamo - nice photos as always!

The season is definitely much earlier this year than last.

Default Under Attack By Mother Nature

I went out with my camera today. In two different places I was under attack. I walked not too far from my car when I heard - Bing! Bang! Bang! Bing! - one right after another. I looked at my car. Was someone shooting at it with a bb gun in the woods? All of a sudden I got clunked on the head. Then a shot hit the ground at my feet. Humongous acorns (not the kind that commit voter fraud) were dropping all over the place. I made a run for it and escaped!

I was surprised that the leaves were so far along. The first photo was taken in Oak Ridge when it was foggy this morning. The rest were taken in Norris. I saw my first Northern Flicker, today.

Laura,

You're the greatest! Thanks for sharing the pictures. My wife and I will be in Tennessee in a little over 2 weeks. We're looking forward to seeing the changing of the leaves. Can't wait!
