Can anyone get that insurance? I have Progressive and I suspect that I am paying through the nose.

Yep. It used to be that they didn't advertise that fact; now they advertise it on TV.

I do not use them for my home insurance however. I prefer to have a big national company (although I'm not really sure that's any better the way some of the companies tried to weasel out of paying for hurricane damage).

I will check into that.

Who would you recommend for renter's insurance? A crackhead moved in across the street. Isn't that pleasant? Apparently, even though my landlord assured me this would never happen, it has. I don't have much, but what I have, I would hate to have to replace.

Yes that's site is great if you have high speed.I have Lite DSL it works but it really bogs the system down. I wish Google would put a date stamp on all their files.

I actually found this today. Do you have Google Earth, or Google Earth Pro to get the details you're discussing. I just downloaded Google Earth, since it's free, and see the Pro version is $20. Thanks -

I don't think you need Earth Pro unless you need it for some kind of commercial purpose.

I'll second that. We have both a farm policy and our vehicles with them. When we switched from Geico to Farm Bureau, our car insurance dropped by a full 1/3 for the same coverage.

I had been with Geico for many years. I had no idea how badly we were being shafted. Next white duck I see is gonna be dinner.

Alleycat, I guess I failed at sarcastic humor...it'd have to be MAJOR for ME to file a claim.

Naww...thanks for the Farm Bureau offer anyway. I'm actually pretty nice myself.

I not only failed to catch your drift . . . I'm not even sure now why I thought you were talking about car insurance.

While google earth is fun you need to remember that the pics are generally a couple of years old. I also wish they would update atleast once in a 6 months period i hope.
