Some others that come to mind are: Chris Gedney(Liverpool/Syracuse University/Chicago Bears and Arizona Cardinals), Pete Holohan(Liverpool/Notre Dame/Chargers, Rams, Chiefs and Browns), Scott Schwedes(Jamesville-DeWitt/Syracuse/Dolphins and Chargers), Robert Drummond(Jamesville-DeWitt/Syracuse/Eagles and 19 seasons with several Canadian Football League teams) and Tom Rafferty(Fayetteville-Manlius/Penn State/Dallas Cowboys)
The Thompson Brothers(Lyle, Miles and Jeremy) are from the Onondaga Nation, attended Lafayette Jr/Sr High and have been some of the top Lacrosse players in the world. Lyle has the Division 1 record for the most points and assists while playing at UAlbany with his brother Miles and cousin Ty. Jeremy played at Syracuse University. All play/have played for the Iroquois Nationals and in Major League Lacrosse.
Another person that came to mind is Breanna Stewart(Cicero-North Syracuse and current UConn Women's Basketball player) at 6"5' and a 7"1' wingspan, was one of, if not the most dominant HS Basketball player in the area. Won a couple of state titles and the Gatorade National Player of the Year. Has already won a National Championship, a NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player award and a National Player of the Year award.
Should have said 3 and may win another tonight........
I guess Andy Rautins since he got a year of run in the NBA with the Knicks.
Blatche was a good call, most people forget he was from Syracuse, because he didn't play for Syracuse (or at any college).
Obviously, neither of those two are the best, but I added them to the list.
