looking for any info on Murrells Inlet, such as housing, schools, hospitals(for employment- MRI tech.), shopping, cost of living. I live in Syracuse, NY
Hi. We just bought a home in the Inlet. So far, so good. We are from New York State, and we purchased with retiring in the future. We are planning on sending our daughter to Catholic school and high school. I hear St. James school system is very good.
As far as housing, Lennar sells a pretty good product in nice communities.
Lots of shopping, restaurants. Garden City has really nice furniture and the Bed Man has excellent mattresses. We just closed the past May and have been traveling back and forth. Lots to do for kids and adults. Since we live in a very rural area in New York State, we love the convenience, lots of places to eat, have fun, etc. South Carolina also has awesome tax breaks for seniors. Quite a difference from New York's taxes. Now, it's just waiting to convince my husband to make the move. Good Luck!
