"The best thing for me is that I get to live here. Because this place is special," said Swinney. "When this is your profession, sometimes you just have to live somewhere where it’s a great job, but it’s a tough place to live. You have traffic and whatever. Here at Clemson it’s the simplicity of life. I’ve been able to raise all three of my sons in this town. There is just this quality of life and simplicity of life here that makes it special. It’s truly one of the most beautiful places you could see...It’s just a beautiful, beautiful part of the country. And we just have our own little world. The city is the college. We have one of everything...There’s just this energy and connectivity with being a part of the university that’s special."

I wish he would say Clemson is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge next to a lake. That line always rustles the SEC team fans on SEC Rant for some reason.

Feel like it is obligatory for Dabo to refer to Clemson as 'lil ol Clemson'.

SC fans seem to talk more about other SEC teams than SC.

Dabo and Clemson certainly seem made for each other. Dabo IMO is Clemson personified.

If Clemson university were a person, due to some of Dabo’s traits, characteristics and background, Clemson would be Dabo.

I don't follow that.

I assume this is supposed to be an insult.

My topic is not about the university, the football team or coach. It about the town and surrounding area.

Yeah true, until he leaves for Alabama in the next few years.

What do they have to talk about? Seven losses in a row to Clemson coming soon. I would live vicariously through Bama and Georgia too.
