There used to be a bunch of online Asian clothing stores that sold stuff that looked nothing like the photo. I remember seeing articles of people receiving just a yard of fabric, or something that looked like a trash bag.
So I've been seeing ads for Modlily which ships from somewhere in asia, and I love some of their stuff. This isn't super-cheap, and they do have positive reviews. But I know reviews can be faked.
Has anyone ordered from them and received decent quality clothing? If you have, any tips on sizing? Some of the asian-made brands are a size or two smaller than US sizes.
Hey, I know those is an ancient thread, but now Modlily is over 4 stars and I really like some of the items. But I am so afraid of getting junk (again). I believe most of the time you get what you pay for, but not always true (and their prices have moved up). I just got compliments on a suede shirt purchased 30 years ago at Burlington Coat Factory for $13.
Because if you go by, "you get what you pay for," I have found for the most part it is true, but every once in a while you can find a gem. I am hoping Modlily may be one.
