When we still lived out there, nearly 25 years ago, there were some swastika graffiti incidents affecting both Asian owned businesses and a Jewish temple.

I consider that discrimination using Race which is ILLEGAL in my country. How can you appropriate Federal land and say minorities can't live there? This land belongs to all Americans.

You guys would scream if we didn't allow you to live in an entire city due to your beliefs - and beliefs can be changed unlike someone's race. Have some empathy for your fellow Americans.

Now if you insist on this form of White Tribalism you can buy your own home and you can discriminate against anyone you want provided you're not engaging in any kind of business (e.g renting it). If several of you want to buy adjacent land, incorporate and do so.

But what you're proposing to do is preventing minorities from living on land that belongs to all Americans.

Russian consciousness is divided on that score; maybe it's a class thing. The professional class was all too conscious of having fought a war against "the Fascists" (some had a parent held in Nazi POW camps). Must have been younger people a couple of generations removed from that, or more likely--Sov-era immigres.

Well, and the other interesting thing about the Russian community there, historically, is that there was a large contingent, a founding population, that immigrated from China, having created Russian communities in northern China. There was no anti-Asian sentiment among the older generations and their kids/grandkids. That cr@p must have come from more recent immigres.

What Federal land would be "appropriated"? The citizens of this country have the ultimate power to decide who can come into this country, and there is no limitation on what criteria can be used to make that decision, that is, if national sovereignty actually means anything. Discrimination laws are about making sure the government does not impose the force of law or its protections to citizens on the basis of race. Now, that ignores the fact that when it DOES do that, it calls it Affirmative Action or some other crap. But the point is, that is the principle behind laws prohibiting discrimination.

That has nothing to do with inviting foreigners into our country. Although, again, when the government DOES do that, and DOES claim it has something to do with it, it generally calls it something else.

Of course, we are all expected to ignore the fact that they (the government) don't have the authority to do what they are doing.

Nobody is proposing what you're claiming I am proposing. Banning non-whites from entering this country has nothing to do with that. It isn't the same thing.

I'm just trying to figure out if you can make the distinction between "ethnic cleansing" and immigration policies based on race (and perhaps more accurately, culture).

So far it doesn't appear that you can. But perhaps you'll get there.
