In short, yes. It's southern California, all of the area is earthquake country. Ask your realtor about the tax rate for the properties you are looking at.

all of so cal is. many earthquakes result in the discovery of minor faults that they never knew existed, so even if they dont have any listed there now, theres a chance that they havent found it. if you dont want the potential of earthquakes, dont move to the west coast(or anywhere where tectonic plates collide)

any home you may want to purchase, you will be told where the nearest fault is, in relationship to that home. It's a requirement.
As far as the difference between chino and Chino Hills, it's the same place, divided by an imaginary line.
Please don't spend any more time worring about earthquakes. It's a non issue.
Sometimes it rains, some times we have earthquakes. Not anything to concern yourself with, or 20 million people wouldn't be living here. They occure very infrequently, and are usually confined to a small area. Most just knock a few things off the shelves. The really bad ones rarely happen...
The natives don't even pay attention to the occassional little ones.
I have to guess you are from out of state and have heard all of the scare stories told about quakes... Disreguard the stories, come on out and enjoy the good life...

Chino is just as susseptable as any other city in Calif, to quakes. Even though many are centered in other areas usually, you can still feel them in neighbouring towns/cities. .

Yep, had a 5.5 last night and California, along with all of the citizens, are still here. You feel them, but ignore them. It's not a big thing...
don't scare this guy off for no reason...
Earthquakes beat the Hell out of some of the stuff the rest of the country gets...
