Im not asking what has or hasnt been passed. Im asking what YOU think is common sense gun laws.
You won't get ideas about common sense gun laws that will prevent people from murdering people and committing violence. Most of the people spewing politically motivated rhetoric about this stuff have little common sense, don't know a damned thing about causes of violence (gun or otherwise), and research has shown that most of these proposals are unsupported by evidence. You will only hear "feel good" virtue-signalling proposals designed to do nothing more than make someone feel better about themselves and create more needless political division. That said, Desantis' recent law allowing concealed carry without any background checks represents the other end of the lunatic fringe. Unfortunately the lunatic fringes drive the "discussion."
If she had any common sense answers toward ending the gun violence in Providence, she would have already told you. The NRA and Republicans? 'Nuff said?

We'll have to disagree. The only thing that a canceled carry permit does is tell the police and government who the law-abiding citizens who do carry are. They do nothing to stop criminals from carrying.
Bingo! The rest of the developed world doesn't have an NRA lobby for their gun manufacturers. And, the stats show.
