Anything more humid than Las Vegas is too humid.

Have you ever tried a bike ride, or cutting the grass in August down there?.
There is no acclimation to this, other than moving to more temperate climate; which I did.
The solution is actually a cooling vest, which one immerses in ice water prior to wearing; messy but very effective in lowering core temp.
Yes. I lived four years in Houston, and 50+ years in Dallas. (No, Dallas is not the high dry desert.) Plenty of people live and work outdoors here. Sweat a lot, drink a lot of water, stay in shade where possible, wear broad brimmed hats, long sleeved shirts, drink a lot of water, pace yourself, drink a lot of water and sweat a lot. It's not some kind of secret.

I have completed 100 mile bicycle rides in 100F heat.

Those people should probably not move to Florida.

I lived in Naples, FL for five years, I couldn't get used to the high dew point. I moved to Las Vegas. The low dew point suits me much better. The only way to get exercise when it's too hot or too humid is to do it indoors where there is air conditioning. You can work out at home, walk around the house, use weights etc. Walk at the mall, join a gym. Where there's a will, there's a way.

The other reason I left Florida is the annual threat of hurricanes. Hurricane Irma hit Naples while I lived there. That was it for me, I sold my house and moved asap.

That's why we left Hawaii.

Acclimation and hydration are key.

Walk outside in the morning or in the evening to avoid the midday sun/heat.

Gyms. Mall walking. Swimming/water aerobics. Indoor fitness classes.

It's the same thing that you do during the summer wherever you live.

^^ this. For the life of me, for people who have a choice, like most retirees, why would anyone want to move anywhere in FL? So many better options..
