Science, Politics and Global Warming

Quote:
— cosmologists have been misled by theoretical physicists who don’t understand gravity, which forms the basis of the big bang theory. Imaginary ‘dark matter,’ ‘dark energy,’ and black holes have been added to make models of galaxies and star birth appear to work. ...
The bottom line is that cosmologists presently have no real understanding of the universe;

True science does, but this is about the false sciences based on false facts and assumptions and believed by consensus, by the gullible.

I agree that the scientists don't know as much as they let believe. If you have a thousand scientists who support AGW and as many against it, then how could anyone possibly know which ones are right? Heck, take your pick.

Which scientist is using the right methods to study it, which ones are tweaking the results? None, some, many, most? Who knows? Whose side are you going to pick? Probably the same as you friends and/or family. Why not, since there is no way of knowing the truth.

Unfortunately science has been turned into a political weapon and people's opinions today are proof of it. Practically all Republicans believe the 1000 scientists who say there is no global warming, and practically all Democrats believe the ones who says there is, so tell me it has not been politicized?

While it's true that we know that there are natural cycles of cooling and warming that have existed for millions of years on this planet it's also true that the impact of man has only existed significantly since the industrial revolution in terms of pollution and what we're putting into the atmosphere. That does make it difficult to determine how much we're actually adding to the already existing natural cycle. However, we can measure with great accuracy the vast amount of material that we're putting into the air and anyone who lives in a big city only needs to look at the brown haze that often covers major metropolitan areas to realize that motor vehicles and industry are pumping tons of unhealthy pollutants into the air. This information can be quantified very accurately and cities who issue smog alerts are well aware of how much it takes to cross the threshold so that people with asthma and other health issues may be affected. This is not biased information and it certainly isn't false science, it's merely reporting factual information that people with difficulty in breathing can attest to.
Even though the past few year may reveal a cooling trend it is most likely a small bump on a much larger scale that will still reveal a general warming trend. That's how nature works. It's much more complex than most people realize and weather trends over the past century don't produce a clear graph with a line that is trending warmer. It's always zigging and zagging but the overall trend over longer time periods is what is important.
The mistrust of science which has been distorted by the beliefs of the OP make it obvious that there are those who are prejudiced against the scientific method because they don't understand it and it conflicts with their religious views.

I am all for reducing pollution, and for developing anternate energies to reduce dependency to foreign oil, but there is no way to conclude which group of scientists are right about this issue. I'd say it just as foolish to jump into supporting mand made warming theory as to oppose it.

Anything put forth as true for mass public consumption by fable makers who call themselves "scientists" -like the climategate science facts so called- with an agenda to mislead the masses for obvious reasons which are apparent to anyone with eyes ot see and ears to hear and with the wisdom and the will to test and prove all things.

There are books written about "false facts" on a number of subjects. Climategate will be among the next to have the the texts written exposing the false facts manipulated by the false scientists who were out for control of the world through political means by their puppet masters; which control they sought, and seek, by their "sky is falling" fable.
