Do religious people really believe their religious stuff? I doubt it. It's hard for a declared atheist to be convinced that religious people actually believe their own religious stuff. That stuff is so absurd, no human being with a working order brain can possibly believe that stuff.

What's easy for an atheist to see is: religious people want others to believe they are moral because they are religious -- they have been threatened by their stupid lies, and therefore should receive some credits for it.

I think there are folks who believe their religious stuff. I also think their are intelligent religious people. the issue is when folks lose all common sense, perspective and ability to respect others.

I am a religious person, who is intelligent, is balanced in my religious beliefs, respects the right of others to have their own beliefs and does not judge other who believe different then me to be lost and going to hell.

I also don't care if others think I'm moral, or that I have a religion that I follow. I need to care for myself and its not my religion that makes me a moral person. I have not been threatened by my religion and I don't feel threatened by others because I do not follow blindly anything in my religion.
