That may well be one of the worst misinterpretations of a Biblical passage ever committed. It has to with honesty and standards. If you cannot read that part of Deuternonomy and see that, then you shouldn't be permitted to post anywhere.

I just read the passage. It seems pretty straight forward to me that the bride needs to be a virgin or else risk punishment and death. And remember...god remains the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow or whatever fundies yell at me from a local street corner.
