Jesus would not approve because the only thing provided was misery and suffering, and with the exception of Panama, Grenade, Korea, and WW I, it was all to enrich some already wealthy Americans.

If you truly want to remember and honor them, then don't ever vote for a Republican or a Democrat for the rest of your natural life. Vote 3rd Party, even if a Commie or a Socialist or Green Party are your only choices. If there aren't any 3rd Party candidates then write one in, and if you can't then do what I do and leave it blank and draw sad faces next to the candidates' names.
