No, I don't care if anyone conforms to my sensibilities. Sensibilities are subjective. It's much more important that everyone be conformed to the Image of Christ, which is objective.

You must have missed reading a few verses, because Jesus certainly DID exhort people to treat others as they would want to be treated.

"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets."

"And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise."

How can anyone conform to the Image of Christ and fail to do that?

You can't just substitute whichever pronouns you want and claim that it means the same thing. Pronouns matter!

Christ taught us to treat others the way *WE* would want to be treated; not the way *THEY* want to be treated.
