I am telling you my experience of 74 years. But go ahead...your thinking is why the middle east is a mess. the cesspool of christianity
As I'm sure you are aware, there is actually more to the world than your experience. The Middle East is a mess because the Holy Land is not being ruled by its rightful owners (Catholics).
Maybe one day we'll have the fortitude and the stomach for another crusade, but until then disorder and death will reign over there.
Your view epitomizes the phrase "a limited or narrow outlook or scope" (i.e., parochial)!! No wonder at all that Catholic schools are called parochial.
