I am curious about whether the new leader of the church will help our people. Talk amongst yourselves.

Here are 2 articles, 1 from the Jerusalem Post
Francis & the Jews | JPost | Israel News
and 1 from JTA
New pope, Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina, has Jewish connections | JTA - Jewish & Israel News
They both state that he had a very positive relationship with the Jewish community in Buenos Aires.

Here's his Passover greeting to the Chief Rabbi of Rome:

Thanks. Christians owe us. Therefore, the Pope should help us against the Palestinians, etc.

This Pope may be head of Catholics...in Westchester. Once, I saw the Pope of Greenwich Village...Yes there was one. But neither had anything to do with Jews.

It depends on how much you would like to pay. There is no free lunch.

You would be better to worry if the Israeli Goverment can abide by it's agreement with it's neighbors. It is probally better that the new Pope established a good connection with those of his faith.

In Italy there is trade with Lebanon and some of these other Middle Eastern Nations , so if Israel defends it self against Hezabela terrorist , then Italy would support Lebanon, so if the Pope is influenced by Italian politics ..... For Christians are not to take sides in their prayers and support for the world , as it would give rise to the works of the devil of strife , still but many Christians will support disobedience to Christ and His commands .... Then from Argentina in its justice dealing to Iran over Iranians blowing up aircrafts of Israel travelers which support for Israel is a diplomatic stagnation for Argentina and Iran , so If the Pope supports politics of Argentina stance against terrorism would be a bonus for Israel .......
