Um why? I mean I can see how he should want the safety and security of the Israeli people. And the Palestinian people too. But I don't see why he should take sides in a conflict in the way you seem to be implying. Nor do I see why Israel=Jews-everywhere or vice versa.

Those of us in the Catholic peace movement support the Palestinian people, Israel is practicing apartheid and genocide against the Palestinian people, we were over at the Israeli embassy in D.C. on Holy Thursday holding a silent prayer vigil for peace.
