Will children who are unable to make the decision to trust Christ before they die, go to Heaven? (church, atheist)

Jmo, God would never ever condemn a child no matter what age or circumstance..If a child dies, they are with God, the merciful , loving Father. IMO the age of accountability to God occurs when our minds are mature enough to take care of ourselves and make our own decisions..
Around the age of 7, I started referring to jesus as 'santa clause for grownups'... if I had died at age 8, would I have gone to hell?
I was fully aware of christian ideology, had read large parts of the bible, but found it to be remarkably uncompelling, and very difficult to accept.
I remember telling my grandmother that the story of noah's ark was physically and zoologically impossible, and her telling me that i would 'understand it better when I was older'...
It's a big hastle because you have to go and get spiritual ID cards for them in case this were to happen. Do you have any idea what that's like? You have to go wait in line with a bunch of people who smell funny and speak no english. Then you get to the counter and the people working there are so rude and unhelpful, often turning people away for the dumbest of reasons in a short snappy tone. When it finally comes to take the test you're nervous because you've waited in line for so long and dread this place so much, that you realize failing it would mean another day wasted at this horrible place. So you go ahead take the test, pass it, and then they get the ugliest picture taken of them. ALL OF THIS, just to prove that they are under the age of consent for accepting Christ. Or, you could just live life and not worry about it
THis post shows of course your deep lack of knowledge of how it works. Logically, if you dont know how it works, how could you really know if you need it or not? Or ..you can keep on going in whatever way you are walking, no matter if at the ends it leads you to a cliff. Enjoy the short ride while you can! After all, it is just the rest of eternity without anything that God created.
By the way...why does it have to be the people who speak no english the ones that smell funny?

Since it apparently went over your head, I was comparing the "coming of age" of finding faith in Jesus with a trip to the DMV. It was a joke. Relax. Why does everything have to be so serious in regards to religion? I mean, on one hand we have a guy pondering the death of his child (needlessly I hope), and I'm trying to lighten the mood, and yet, I am the one being chastised for it? Why would I want anything to do with something that requires me to ponder things such as "What happens when the child I love so much dies suddenly?"
My wife and I both wrestle with this question. Before we get into this let me clarify the question. We're talking about situations where a child is taken from this world unexpectedly. What's the cut-off age that a child should make that descision. I personally believe that they will be saved through God's Grace and Love. The Bible does not seem to adress this question or perhaps, I simply do not know where to look. I have some other thoughts, but we'll see where this goes.
After my adult years as a pagan, I found myself at the end of my rope. I was a prodigal son, and cryed out to Jesus
What may be of interest to you, is that I cryed out to the Jesus I knew as a young child.
As a young child, if an adult had asked me if I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, I would'nt have known what the heck they were talking about.
I had the mind of child.

I agree with you. I think the age of accountability comes when we are able to understand why Jesus died and can understand the consequences of rejecting Him. But it is a different age for everyone.
I think he means pagan in the pejorative sense... i.e. 'heretic' or 'heathen'.
Didn't care enough to be heretic, but did qualify as heathen.
