This is what a christian said to me, when I told them that I am atheist. I then replied, well yeah!!! Who doesn't want to do the exact opposite of what the bible says? They were shocked. I love pretty much all of the sins in the bible, except for hurting people physically. Stealing is bad to, but some people just deserve to get cussed at and sex with another persons wife is just plain HOT. Getting drunk is fun to, I mean come on who would create booze and then tell the people in the world not to drink it?

Any other atheists out there that think "sinning" just comes natural? Be honest now

I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints?

Yep. We only live once so lets just "party like its 1999" ... I love Prince. Although I did hear he is a christian now. Poor guy. Brainwashed is a terrible drug.

Dexorcist,
Just curious, do you live every day trying to not disappoint the three people who wrote "stay cool" in your middle school yearbook?

Really, I know what you mean.
I've been raised Moderator cut: delete(Mormon).
I appreciate the people & goodness of the religion, but I question things that are harmful or just wrong.
And for questioning it, I am put down, called names (like "apostate sinner"), shunned... & other Moderator cut: delete treatment.

It is a sin to do many of the things I do on a daily basis, but a sin to whom? Doing drugs and drinking alcohol is thought of as wrongful behaviour. To who? I understand why it is wrong to drink and drive, but why is it wrong to "drink" period to so many religious type? I am trying to live my life to the fullest and I don't think anything is wrong experiencing all aspects of life without restriction.

My only favorite sins are not worshiping sky daddy, not doing whatever the preacher man and his big black book tell me to do unquestioningly, not paying tithes and not buying/listening to contemporary christian music... you know, the big ones that land you straight in hell.

As for getting rip-roaring drunk all the time, banging other men's wives and stealing stuff... that crap just isn't much fun if you are more than 16 years old. Grow up kid!

Most atheists aren't out-of-control horn-dogs who are focused entirely on partying and instant self-gratification. That's not what atheism is about.
