Maybe someday you'll post something sensible.

Maybe.

So if I understand you correctly, you are only concerned when the impact is close to you. Things that happen to people that you don't know or that you can't relate to aren't a concern for you.
I'm not hateful; I just don't give religion a bunch of unearned respect. And no, your "hate the sin, love the sinner" analogy doesn't work in this situation because I don't mind people practicing their religious beliefs by themselves or in their places of worship. What I do hate is when people try to make everyone else in the world practice their particular religious beliefs (especially when those beliefs are used to justify treating other people badly).

I do care about what happens in the rest of the world, but where I can help make the most impact right now is here (ex. the Vote No campaign). Wrong is wrong, and where it is happening, or who is doing it doesn't change that.

So you hate what they do. That sounds hateful to me. If you also hate them as people, then my analogy doesn't hold up. If you don't hate them, it most certainly does. Perhaps you can't see it because you are blinded by hatred.

No, we're not here to usher in communism (though some socialist policies would benefit us)

And no, we don't think the moon landing was a hoax.

And no, we don't think 9/11 was an inside job.

And no, we don't think JFK was assassinated by the mob, CIA, and Castro working together.

And no, we don't think the government has alien bodies hidden at Wright-Patterson AFB.

And no, we don't think FDR purposefully goaded the Japanese to attack Pearl Harbor.

And no, we don't think that chemtrails are a secret plot to reduce the world's population.

Any other tin foil hat ideas you wish to toss our way? Alien invasions? New World Order plots? Illuminati scandals perhaps?

So you enjoy having your freedoms usurped by an authoritarian, fascist philosophy that you don't believe in?

I bet it's a real scream around your place during times of celebration.

"Hey, mom, hurry up! We're about to burn a copy of the Constitution!"

"Oh, don't light it without me, honey. I'm almost done fixing the gallows where we can hang Thomas Jefferson in effigy!"

Are the Illuminati included in the Freemasons or should you add the Freemasons/New World Order to the list?

What about the Bildebergers and the Bohemian Grove?

I live in the most liberal part of Minnesota so I am pretty much resigned to it.

You know, I thought about adding them to the list - as well as the Trilateral Commission and Skull and Bones, but I thought if the list was too long, people wouldn't read it.

Yes, some were - despite your claim otherwise. So, was it deceit or just plain ignorance behind your false statement?

Well, there goes the argument that Christians are taking away gay rights. Thanks for pointing that out.
Even you can't possibly be dumb enough to think that because not all Christians are anti-gay, it proves that none are.
