I would totally do what she did but would not be showing a romantic interest in you. She's only showing her appreciation. I wanted to repay a guy for something he did for me and I bought him a Burberry shirt. He was defiantly surprised however I was not romantically interested in him and was actually dating someone at the time. I just wanted him to know I really appreciated how he was there for me. Plus I'm a person with expensive taste so buying him a Burberry shirt meant nothing out of the ordinary for me.
