I just road tripped around Costa Rica for a week and if they have to make a sudden stop, they'll put their hazards on to warn people behind them

Usually somebody has to be seizure free for 6 months before driving. The DMV has a detailed form that doctors have to fill out to clear people.

In some states it's actually illegal to drive with hazards on, but I believe it's okay in NC. I only see it done when it's really coming down hard.

One time I was driving through the gorge on I-40 coming from TN into NC and the rain was coming down in buckets making visibility extremely difficult. There's no safe place to pull over in that situation so drivers had no choice but to turn on their 4-ways and proceed with caution. That was some white knuckle driving at it's best.
