WRAL says 100% chance of 1", 90% chance of 3" in Raleigh. That much may or may not accumulate, but with the cold temps prior, it seems possible.

Please no sightseeing on the interstates this weekend as it slows down others. If you can't drive 65 find an alternate route.

Ok in the interest of playing fair, the meteorologists who are digging deep on this system are saying we will get "wraparound" snow on Monday and maybe Tuesday.

My son's school starts midterms and semester finals on Thursday.

I miss living in Raleigh. the winter storm watching was always fun and I swear you guys have some of the best meteorologists ever!

Looks like a good classic storm. I'm in Dallas now but watches are out from west texas and oklahoma. Mama always said if it comes out of Texas we're getting snow. So looks like the Triangle will get in on the action and especially places like Roxboro, the Triad and up toward Hickory.

Was looking at Southwest for flights and travel advisories are out. The storm is named "Diego"
