But back to the OP and your link (behind a paywall, so many cannot read it). Did immigrant Rosa Marie Ortega vote for a "strong man" republican due to her "culture?"
It's quite simple.

You go to a government office and register to vote in person and show your birth certificate.

That's how we do it with driver licenses.

But our government is not doing that. Just "check a box" and then it becomes "we believe you".

Done on purpose if you ask me.
Both parties are corrupt to the core and neither have been worried about immigration for 4 years EXCEPT THAT ONE time that Ukraine wanted more money. And even then the border stuff got dropped like a hot potato.

It's a new America folks..like it or not.

When people are in a desperate situation, they want a strong leader to solve their problems for them. Strong man. I don't think they care all that much about "handouts". As much as they hated the oppression they were living under before, they looked up to the strong man sitting at the top of those places.

Hence, poor desperate people love Trump.
Trump is not pretending he will solve their problems for them, or give them hand outs.

Trump's not promising to punish and repress one group, while giving another group preferential treatment and free stuff.

If anything, Trump is promising less government interference, to get gov't off our backs, and let the people make a life for themselves, using their own initiative to follow their own dreams.

Trump's putting the American people first, not flinging open the borders and mollycoddling unfettered admittance to illegal aliens, spending billions on them, and foreign wars, while promising to raise our taxes, and put us ever more in debt.

The only strong man they want, is one who has the strength of character and the conviction to push back against our oppressive government, which seeks to control our lives, control our speech, and punish anyone who does not adopt the values and opinions of the government.

Dems are trying to block the 2030 Census from asking about citizenship. The Dems want to use illegals to bolster population in Blue areas to avoid losing House seats, due to all the U.S. citizens/residents fleeing Blue States and cities (not all but most).
Nailed it, correct.

I suspect many coming across the border with thank Joe Biden shirts are a good indication they will vote democrat at least for a generation. This is usually the time they wake up and realize the socialist Democratic Party does not give a **** about them.

Sorry, but they haven't learned for decades now. Some cultures have a tribal mentality and they will never forget who allowed their ancestors into our country illegally, who has pushed for amnesty for them and who are passing out the freebies via socialism. Have Blacks ever woke up over the years? Most Hispanics won't either based on the reasons that I denoted.

He wanted it sourced in black and white. I provided that. It took 15 seconds on the "Dogpile" browser. Left Wing Google makes it harder to find.

Why would a birth certificate be useful or required?
It only shows your age and where you were born, not citizenship.
It also costs money and time to get a birth certificate. Some could not afford one.

What absolute proof do you have that proves your citizenship without a doubt? Maybe a passport would work. You could be born in the US and renounce your citizenship, and no one would know if you presented a birth certificate. We rely on a birth certificate for passports mostly as identification. It costs a bundle to get a passport.

If you are a naturalized citizen, you will have citizenship documents. Even if you are not a citizen you can vote in local elections in at least about a dozen states. You have to be a resident.

When I registered to vote I had to show proof of residence. They wanted to be sure I lived in the proper jurisdiction and precinct.

We have a lot of problems with voting registration. The couple that owned my house and moved out of state were still registered to vote at my address ten years later. There should be a national registration tracking system.
