You've never been anywhere on election night as the vote totals come in then? "I need to find XX votes" is heard from candidates, of both parties, from the time the first returns come in until the end of the night. Then it becomes "I need to find XX absentees".

How, or is, that law enforced? Also, the law does not forbid alien's voting:
Quote:
§611. Voting by aliens

(a) It shall be unlawful for any alien to vote in any election held solely or in part for the purpose of electing a candidate for the office of President, Vice President, Presidential elector, Member of the Senate, Member of the House of Representatives, Delegate from the District of Columbia, or Resident Commissioner, unless-
(1) the election is held partly for some other purpose;
(2) aliens are authorized to vote for such other purpose under a State constitution or statute or a local ordinance; and
(3) voting for such other purpose is conducted independently of voting for a candidate for such Federal offices, in such a manner that an alien has the opportunity to vote for such other purpose, but not an opportunity to vote for a candidate for any one or more of such Federal offices.
This loophole swallows the rule.

Yep, massive "illegals" will vote. So will animals, extraterrestrials, space birds, virtual beings, etc.

Poor trump. Much of the universe is against him. I wonder why. LOL

These people are clueless. They think sanctuary cities that run the voting system in their cities (all elections are managed by locals) will turn in illegals that they are protecting that they want them to have full benefits to federal immigration over a ballot. These sanctuary cities are violating federal law in the first place by protecting them. Why are they going to call in the immigration feds (which they reject) to deport illegals after they have spent money and time to get them normalize within their system over a ballot.

The politicians running sanctuary cities want their illegals to vote and for them to report to them, why will they call the feds to deport them over the right to vote which they think they should have in the first place with other things.

Sanctuary City government on the phone: " Huh, Hello, Immigration, huh, listen We have been protecting illegals in our city for years (making $$$ from them, cheap labor and We control them) and having our own little country here and ignoring your federal laws but We caught some of them voting in our local city elections (votes for us to stay in power) and We found some questionable ballots that they didn't show I.D. and the signatures didn't match and We draw the line. Can you come to our city and deport them and the whole family and take their kids out of school and screw our sanctuary city system. We told them over and over that they can violate all federal immigration laws, drive in our cities, work in our cities, go to school in our cities, use our hospitals and public services in our city, lie on their job application, have different fake I.D.s but if they get caught voting in our city ((vote for the Democrat city machine) , they are gone! deported!!!! We have principles, We draw the line. Laws must be obey. We have them locked up for you, come and get them. We have the ballots in question in our evidence basement sealed and locked up next to the guns and knives used in murders.".

Yeah, that's how the sanctuary city works.

Not this year, but in an election cycle or two after they argue that they've contributed to the country (they're being issued work permits now) and that their children are Americans.

a California voter is not required to show identification to a polling place worker before casting a ballot. However, if you are voting for the first time after registering to vote by mail and did not provide your driver license number, California identification number or the last four digits of your social security number on your registration form, you may be asked to show a form of identification when you go to the polls. In this case, be sure to bring identification with you to your polling place or include a copy of it with your Vote-by-mail ballot. A copy of a recent utility bill, the sample ballot booklet you received from your county elections office or another document sent to you by a government agency are examples of acceptable forms of identification. Other acceptable forms of identification include your passport, driver license, official state identification card, or student identification card showing your name and photograph.

This is a joke. My 12 year old niece can make a fake student identification card with her name and photograph from her cheap laptop and $200 inkjet printer and that's for first timers. Then you don't have to show I.D. to vote ever again.

Sanctuary cities made their voting laws so relaxed and simple and if there is a "questionable" ballot that caught their eye, they just put it aside not call immigration for deportation. They are not calling 911 over a questionable ballot, they will just put it aside.

These cities order their own cops that they can't arrest or hold any person based on their immigration status, they can't even stop them to ask about their immigration status . So basically, the illegal has to break a serious law for the police to detain them or even question them but not about their immigration status. They are free to roam in sanctuary cities.

You think if there is a questionable ballot in these sanctuary cities, the same people that are protecting these illegals in the first place will call the feds to deport them? If they get deported they lost time and resources and have to start again with a new illegal.

You don't build sanctuary cities to protect a group of people that the federal law says they shouldn't be here if they are not going to help you stay in power and you can't control them.
